Dr. Sashini Ruwanthika Gamalath is a compassionate Sri Lankan General Practitioner with over six years of experience in various medical fields including pediatrics, gynecology & obstetrics, neurosurgery, and general & emergency medicine. She is driven by her passion for medicine and her dedication to providing comprehensive and empathetic patient care.

Dr. Sashini began her educational journey at Musaeus College in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where she completed her G.C.E O/L and G.C.E A/L. She earned her medical degree from the University of Science & Technology in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She completed her residency at Base Hospital Balangoda in Sri Lanka, followed by a fellowship at Teaching Hospital Karapitiya. She has also worked at Base Hospital Kinniya in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.

Throughout her career, Dr. Sashini has demonstrated expertise in handling pediatric emergencies, assisting in cesarean sections and obstetric surgeries, performing gynecological procedures, interpreting ECGs and various scans, and managing neurosurgical and medical emergencies. She is skilled in a range of procedures including urinary catheterization, IV injections, minor suturing, and conducting medical clinics.
